Minimally invasive group of Chinese Urological Association (CUA) was established in 1993 and is the earliest group established by CUA. The establishment and development of minimally invasive group reflects the strengthen of CUA with the times. Since its establishment, the minimally invasive group has been committed to the innovation, development and popularization of minimally invasive technology in urology in China. There are 41 members in the newly founded minimally invasive group. Professor Liping Xie is the chair of the group. Under the leadership of CUA, all members of the minimally invasive group will be united, and together with colleagues nationwide to promote the internationalization, standardization, and popularization of minimally invasive technology in urology. They will also accelerate the training and promotion of Chinese urological talents in minimally invasive surgery subspecialty, which can provide motivation for rapid development of urology in China.
