The primary-level medical group of Chinese medical association urology branch, headed by professor Wei Qiang and consisting of 154 members, was founded in 2021.“Planning the layout to strengthen the community-level health services”. To respond to the call of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, we will take improving the capacity of medical services at primary-level as a long-term plan and a fundamental measure.

The progress of China's urology sector not only lies in the top domestic hospitals keeping up with the international first-class level, but also lies in the development of community-level urology services, benefiting more citizens. Gross-root health service is the power source and ultimate foothold for realizing the grand goal of “Healthy China 2030”. Under the leadership of CUA, all members of the primary-level medical group will make great efforts together with national urology colleagues in the following fields:

1) Promote the standardization and popularization of China's urology diagnostic and treatment technology and provide inexhaustible driving force for the sustainable development of China's urology sector.

2) Popularize appropriate minimally invasive techniques in urology at community-level, with “meticulous” as our slogan.

3) Standardize primary-level urological diagnosis and treatment, including expounding CUA guidelines to medical practitioners, etc.

4) Cultivate basic level urology talents, namely (the CUA training college grassroots physician training).
